Leslie Cober

An artist known for her uplifting illustrations, Leslie Cober’s endeavors include an accomplished art career, illustrator/designer, curator, and educator. Instructing and mentoring undergraduates as a Professor at The Fashion Institute of Technology NYC and graduate MFA Illustration students as a Professor at Western Connecticut State University. Curator and Chair of The Member’s exhibit at The Museum of American Illustration Society of Illustrators NYC annually for 7 consecutive years, guest speaking to art and design students at various universities throughout the country, serving as a member of the NYC Landmark50 Alliance, and appointed to The Sanford B Low Illustration Collection Committee at the New Britain Museum.

Leslie’s well recognized Strathmore Bristol paper cover art has recently been acquired by the permanent collection of the New Britain Museum of American Art. Leslie’s most current endeavors include 5 commissioned outdoor public space murals, exhibiting simultaneously throughout Fairfield County, CT.
