Kristin Schnitzler

Kristin’s passion for art started as soon as she could put a pencil in her hand. Her childhood was spent copying characters from the comic strips of her grandfather’s Sunday newspaper. Her High School years were spent in the art room with the dream of becoming a working artist. Kristin studied art at Norwalk Community College as well as the School of Visual Arts. She is also a member of the local art group, Saint Philip’s Artist Guild. Art has always been her creative outlet allowing her to express herself and her emotions in a positive way.

Favorite mediums include fine-liner pens, and acholic ink, as well as acrylic paint. People, animals, and nature are her muse, and Kristin’s artwork reflects the raw energy and strength of her spirit through expressive linework and dramatic splashes of color. The purpose of her artwork is to spread positive vibes, inspiration, and hope. Some of her biggest accomplishments include painting a mural of Hope for the Art Park in Isaac Square located in Norwalk Connecticut as well as painting one of the barriers on Washington Street to beautify Norwalk. She recently launched, Peace Bunny Designs, an art design company that combines all her art disciplines: drawings, paintings, illustrations, t-shirts, and graphic design.
