Rose Gatto

Following an early interest in art, I studied at FIT in NYC. My desire to connect art and psychology later led me to pursue a Masters Degree in Art Therapy at the College of New Rochelle, NY. I also studied at the New York Academy of Fine Art, School of Visual Arts and the Art Students League in NYC.

I have always been interested in the relationship with an inner process that can take place through the arts. Oil painting offers me the ideal medium to express my inner state which is often pensive and quiet. My paintings are an attempt to find beauty and balance in my interior world and in the world around me.
