Helen Roman

Helen Roman helped establish The fashion Workshop NYC with Stephen Stipleman of WWD and taught art and design at the New York School for Media Arts. Her distinctive illustrations appeared in major fashion magazines and weekly in the NY Times for Abercrombie and Fitch. Her international accounts included promotion for Spain and Italy as well as Ferragamo, Prada and Yogi Yamamoto. Her extensive study of drawing and painting as expressed through illustration paved the way for her natural transition into portraiture. She is currently working on a series of celebrity portraits, and on portraits from shots that she took in Africa. Helen Roman attended Fordham University, The School of Visual Arts and FIT. Ms. Roman was creative supervisor and art director of Roman Associates NYC.
